War and Hope

Between the two poems "What Do I Remember Of The Evacuation" and "Resume" I think "What do I Remember of the Evacuation" is more relevant today. Although it may not be in direct result of war people are being taken or moved from their homes everyday, everywhere. It could be children, families, or adults. Some peoples biggest memories are of leaving. Leaving a home, town, country. It also tells the story of a girl who is discriminated against because of how she looks and her cultural origins. As much as we would love to deny it, this is definitely relevant to today. There is still racism and discrimination all over the world. "What Do I Remember Of The Evacuation" is very relevant today.
